Open communication with residents’ families is maintained through regular meetings to discuss care and daily activities.

Fees

You may be asked to pay one or more of the following fees in residential care:

A basic daily fee: this covers living costs such as meals, cleaning, laundry heating and cooling. Everyone entering an aged care home can be asked to pay this fee. The maximum basic daily fee is 85% of the single person rate of the basic Age Pension. For some people this is the only fee they are required to pay. Daily care fees alter twice a year in line with the increase of the aged pension. All residents and their representatives will be notified of any fees changes directly from the Department of Human Services.

A means-tested care fee: this is an additional contribution towards the cost of care that some people may be required to pay. The Department of Human Services will work out if you are required to pay this fee based on an assessment of your income and assets and will advise you of the amount.

An accommodation payment: this is for your accommodation in the aged care home. Some people will have their accommodation costs met in full or in part by the Australian Government, while others will need to pay the accommodation price agreed with the aged care home. The Department of Human Services will advise you which applies to you based on an assessment of your income and assets.

Additional service fee: this is an additional daily fee which includes hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, big screen TV, premium soap and body range, weekly happy hour. Newspapers and magazines are available in the common room.

Single room without ensuite
The maximum price which can be charged for this room is a refundable deposit of $370,000.00. Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example fortnightly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.

Single room with ensuite
The maximum price which can be charged for this room is a refundable deposit of $420,000.00. Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. Single room Ross Cherry Wing additional services
We are proud to announce the opening in December 2019 of our newly renovated Ross Cherry Wing, offering additional services. The maximum price which can be charged for this room is a refundable deposit of $450,000.00. Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example fortnightly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.

We believe in staying active and connected. Our dedicated full-time lifestyle coordinator works with residents to support their interests, organise group outings, and encourage community involvement. The heart of Oasis is its central hub, conveniently connecting to each wing, making it easy for residents and visitors to move around and access everything they need. Our meals are lovingly prepared on-site, and laundry services ensure you always have clean and comfortable clothing.

Our caring staff is here to support you 24/7. With a registered nurse available on-site Monday to Friday and on-call around the clock, we’re always here when you need us. Our friendly administration team is on hand from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, to assist with any questions or needs you may have.
